Cloud infrastructure
Render
Render is a cloud platform for deploying and operating applications. Teams can connect a Git repository or container image to a service, deploy changes, and run web services alongside managed databases and other resources. Its documentation covers web services, Postgres, key-value stores, and long-running workflows.
Founder and CEO Anurag Goel started Render in 2019 to make cloud infrastructure easier for engineering teams to use. Render’s Blueprints let teams describe connected services and databases in a YAML file so the platform can manage them together.
Render has also built tools for coding agents to interact with deployed infrastructure. In an August 2026 article, Jacob Prall described its hosted MCP server, command-line tooling, and agent skills for operations such as inspecting services and triggering deploys. Prall is an AI Engineer Code 2026 speaker.
