HICAP, a leading maker of liquor closures, spent the past two years putting AI into its own delivery, quality, planning and marketing. Shihui Zhu shares how a manufacturer picks AI projects by business impact, enters through specific agents, and brings AI into the execution, monitoring and feedback of everyday processes: the last mile of manufacturing AI, where ninety miles in is only halfway.
About the speaker
Shihui Zhu is General Manager of Haiwei Software at HICAP Group, with more than ten years of experience in packaging and digital transformation for the alcoholic-beverage industry. He led the rollout of code-management platforms and item-level digital supply chains for over 700 clients. Over the past two years, he has brought AI into the group's own delivery, quality, planning and marketing workflows, building the HiWork enterprise AI workspace, which was recognized as an annual innovation case at AIIC 2026.
