Baz

Baz builds an engineering review platform for development teams to check specifications, code, security and merge readiness. AI Code Review identifies bugs and architectural regressions and suggests fixes, while Baz Planner evaluates implementation plans before code is written. Its specialized agents also investigate vulnerabilities, connect production telemetry to code changes, and apply and validate fixes in isolated runtimes. Reviewers share context about the codebase, engineering standards and product requirements.

Founded in 2023 by Guy Eisenkot and Nimrod Kor, Baz is led by Eisenkot as CEO and Kor as CTO. Its technical approach connects product intent with implementation: Spec Reviewer gathers Figma designs and Jira requirements, then combines repository analysis with isolated browser execution to check actual behavior. For reviews spanning repositories, Baz maintains separate code indexes, updates changed files incrementally and retrieves snippets that meet a relevance threshold.

In June 2026, the company reported more than 100 customers across AI, infrastructure and cybersecurity, and announced additional seed funding that brought total financing to $17 million. Baz sells subscriptions per active developer for code review, with separate usage-based Engineering Work Credits for advanced agents. Enterprise plans add deployment in a customer's virtual private cloud and centralized administration; AWS Marketplace provides a purchasing route through existing AWS billing and committed spend.
