Caylent

Caylent helps startups and large enterprises build, migrate and operate applications on Amazon Web Services. Its services span cloud migration, application modernization, data and analytics, custom software development and generative AI. Caylent Accelerate applies AI automation to migration and modernization work. For contact centers, its migration framework assesses existing environments, maps call flows and tests routing logic, helping engineering teams plan and carry out transitions to newer systems.

Founded in 2015 by JP La Torre and Stefan Thorpe, Caylent began with developer tools: a container management platform for building, deploying and managing applications in developers’ own clouds. Valerie Henderson is now chief executive officer. The company’s engineering approach combines consulting and implementation with reusable automation, including accelerators for security and compliance, serverless data lakes and machine learning operations.

Gryphon Investors made a majority growth investment in Caylent in 2022, with management and executive chairman Stephen Garden retaining significant equity. Caylent’s completed acquisition of Trek10 in 2025 added its CloudOps platform and managed services, including round-the-clock AWS monitoring. Its acquisition of Pronetx in 2026 expanded customer-experience services around Amazon Connect. Together, these additions extend Caylent’s work beyond building and migrating systems to ongoing cloud operations and customer engagement.
