Composio builds infrastructure that lets AI assistants and developer-built agents act across business applications. Composio Platform provides SDKs, authentication and tool execution for integrations with more than 1,500 apps, including Gmail, GitHub, Slack and Salesforce. Composio for You connects existing assistants to those applications, letting users draft email replies, create issues and work with business data. Its developer platform handles integration plumbing while supporting different models and agent frameworks.

Founded in 2023 by Soham Ganatra and Karan Vaidya, Composio grew from the founders’ work on coding agents and the difficulty of connecting them to applications. Vaidya is its cofounder and CTO. The platform’s sessions bind each task to a user, connected accounts, authentication and execution state. Agents discover relevant tools at runtime rather than loading hundreds of definitions into their context; a session-scoped sandbox handles large responses and preserves intermediate files and results.

In 2025, investor Lightspeed described Composio as engaging more than 100,000 developers. For organizational workflows, Shared Connections lets teammates use an authorized company account without circulating credentials; existing private connections remain private. Its developer-platform implementation is experimental. Composio also supports self-hosting in a customer’s cloud account and region, giving organizations a deployment choice alongside its US-hosted cloud service.
