Enterprise conversational AI and agent orchestration

Druid AI

Druid AI builds an enterprise AI platform that connects conversational agents to business information and operational systems. Its products let users ask questions and act on live data from customer management, service, finance and HR systems, including sending updates back to those systems. Customers include Georgia Southern University in higher education, MatrixCare in healthcare and Liberty Global in shared services.

At the center is Conductor, an orchestration engine that breaks business goals into tasks and routes them to specialist agents. It carries context between steps, records system actions and sends low-confidence or policy-exception cases to human review. Agent Builder gives business teams a visual way to configure conversation paths and workflows, while engineers can extend integrations and business logic with code. For organizations whose data must remain on their infrastructure, Druid offers Becus, its proprietary language model for on-premises and air-gapped deployments.

Founded in 2018, Druid grew from enterprise conversational assistants toward coordinating agents that retrieve information and execute work. Founder Liviu Drăgan had previously established TotalSoft, the maker of the Charisma enterprise resource planning software. His motivation for Druid was practical: make self-service easier by letting people ask for information instead of navigating software or reading through text. The company’s 2021 Oxygen release introduced visual conversation design; that approach continues in its current agent-building tools. Druid announced Drăgan’s death in May 2025.
