Dylibso

Dylibso builds tools for extending software and connecting enterprise applications to AI. Extism is its open source WebAssembly plug-in system, allowing developers to make applications extensible across programming languages. Turbo MCP is an enterprise MCP gateway and management platform that lets organizations connect applications to AI while controlling access. IT and security teams can integrate identity providers, approve servers, audit activity and revoke agent access without blocking employees from their work applications.

Founded in 2022 by Steve Manuel, Zach Shipko and Benjamin Eckel, Dylibso is led by Manuel as CEO. Its early products addressed the practical work of taking WebAssembly into production. Alongside Extism, it developed Modsurfer, a diagnostics application for inspecting WebAssembly binaries. Modsurfer exposed source language, imports and exports, runtime risk and code complexity to help developers investigate problems in otherwise opaque modules.

Turbo MCP is distributed as a single container for deployment in customer infrastructure, with deployment assistance and custom MCP server development available. This gives enterprise teams a self-hosted way to manage AI connectivity. Dylibso has announced the sunsetting of its earlier mcp.run and XTP offerings as it narrows its focus toward a new AI-driven software stack.
