Healthcare revenue cycle management

Ensemble Health Partners

Ensemble Health Partners manages the financial and administrative work that connects healthcare delivery to payment. Its revenue cycle management services cover patient scheduling and registration, coding, billing, collections and denial recovery for hospitals and health systems. Its proprietary EIQ platform combines analytics, predictive models and workflow agents to flag payment anomalies, draft denial appeals and guide operators within existing client systems.

Founded in 2014 by current CEO Judson Ivy, Ensemble combines revenue cycle operators with engineers and data scientists to turn operational practices into automated workflows. Its Next Best Action technology incorporates payer adjudication responses into provider workflows to predict and automate subsequent claim-resolution steps. Ensemble announced a U.S. patent for that technology in 2024, its tenth patent overall.

The business provides managed services covering strategy, staffing and systems, with scopes and contracts tailored to client needs. In June 2026, Ensemble reported managing operations for more than 200 hospitals and more than $55 billion in net patient revenue for health systems. It closed a strategic recapitalization with a new private-equity sponsor on August 3, 2026; its earlier investment announcement had identified Thoreau as the incoming investor.
