KRAFTON

KRAFTON is a South Korean game developer and publisher serving players across PC, mobile, and consoles. Its portfolio includes PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, PUBG MOBILE, BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA, inZOI, and Subnautica 2. Beyond playing, PUBG MOBILE users can create maps through World of Wonder, introduced in 2023. The company reported that Subnautica 2 exceeded five million cumulative copies sold within 22 days of its 2026 early-access launch.

KRAFTON counts Gang-Seok Kim, Yong-Hyun Park, and Kim Jung-han among its founders; Chang-Han Kim is its current CEO. Its AI engineering connects language models to gameplay. PUBG Ally, tested in a limited public beta in June 2026, uses NVIDIA ACE to process speech and coordinate with players locally, while behavior trees handle immediate movement and combat. This separates language reasoning from actions that cannot wait for it. KRAFTON also developed Orak, a benchmark spanning 12 video games with an MCP interface that lets researchers connect models and evaluate their decisions during play.

KRAFTON’s business now extends into advertising alongside game production and publishing. Its acquired subsidiaries include Japanese advertising company ADK Group and ad tech company Neptune, purchased for reported amounts of approximately KRW 710 billion and KRW 165 billion, respectively. In India, KRAFTON established a local advertising entity to handle advertising for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA, with plans to work with Neptune on advertising technology.
