Machinecraft

Machinecraft designs and manufactures vacuum forming and thermoforming machines for manufacturers of automotive components, packaging, sanitaryware and industrial parts. Its PF1 Series forms heavy-gauge products such as vehicle panels and bathtubs, while FCS Series roll-fed systems integrate forming, cutting and stacking for food and medical packaging. Its range also includes automatic multi-station equipment, twin-sheet machines for hollow parts, and IMG and TOM systems for automotive interior surfaces and decorative film lamination.

Polymer chemist Bhanuchandra P. Doshi founded the business in 1976, initially building vacuum forming equipment for refrigerator panel manufacturers. It remains a third-generation family business, with Deepak Doshi as chairman and Manan Doshi as chief technology officer. Manan introduced parametric CAD across the product range and led the transition from pneumatic to servo-driven systems. The company's TOM equipment, developed with FVF Thermoforming of Japan, applies decorative films to three-dimensional plastic and metal surfaces.

Machinecraft engineers and assembles its machines in Umargam, Gujarat. Its turnkey offering combines machinery, trimming cells, tooling and raw-material identification. Related group businesses extend that manufacturing scope: Formpack produces industrial components using Machinecraft equipment, while Indu Advanced Polymers extrudes ABS, ASA and HDPE sheets for its machines and third-party thermoformers.
