Football data, analytics and fantasy tools

PFF

PFF provides American-football player grades, statistics and analysis for fans evaluating players, preparing fantasy drafts and following the NFL and college football. Its PFF+ subscription includes Premium Stats 2.0, where users can compare players by position, filter by team and examine performance across passing, blocking, coverage and other facets. Fantasy offerings include rankings, a Live Draft Assistant and a Fantasy Mock Draft Simulator.

Founded by Neil Hornsby, PFF developed its approach around evaluating every player on every play. Cris Collinsworth, PFF’s CEO, acquired majority ownership in 2014. Its analysts use position-specific grading rubrics to assess contribution to production, rather than simply tallying box-score results. PFF WAR extends that work into player valuation, combining grades, participation and the relative importance of football tasks with simulations to estimate wins above replacement.

In March 2026, Teamworks acquired PFF’s enterprise business for a reported transaction value exceeding $100 million. At the acquisition, Teamworks reported that the platform served every NFL team and more than 240 Division I programs. PFF’s independent consumer business was excluded from the deal and remained under Collinsworth’s control, continuing its fantasy, draft, betting and player-insight offerings.
