Portia AI builds Rezonant, software for product teams at technology companies that connects customer feedback, company strategy and codebase context to product development work. Its product brain organizes information from tools such as GitHub, Linear and Slack into a shared wiki stored in GitHub. A product agent uses that context to write specifications, build prototypes and open pull requests, bringing people into Slack for decisions and approvals. Rezonant also supplies shared product context to coding agents.

Founded in 2024 by Emma Burrows and Mounir Mouawad, Portia developed an agent SDK and cloud platform built around explicit planning, stateful execution, human checkpoints and authenticated tools. Developers could review a plan before execution and intervene when an agent needed information or a decision. Rezonant grew from an internal agent that translated product ideas into engineering tickets using Linear and GitHub. Burrows is now Rezonant’s CEO.

Portia raised £4.4 million in 2025 in a funding round led by General Catalyst, with First Minute Capital, Stem AI and angel investors participating. The company subsequently announced its focus on Rezonant and said Portia would transition to closed source, while continuing to support existing and new customers building multi-agent deployments.
