Product management education and AI product development tools
Reforge provides professional education for individuals and product teams through Reforge Learning, with on-demand and live courses covering product management, growth and AI. Memberships provide course access rather than individual course purchases; AI topics include evaluating agents and testing ideas through prototyping. Reforge has also developed product discovery software: Insights synthesizes customer feedback, Research supports AI-driven surveys and interviews, and Build enables teams to prototype ideas before committing engineering resources.
Founder Brian Balfour, identified as CEO in the March 2026 acquisition announcement, created Reforge’s original Growth Series with Andrew Chen roughly a decade earlier. Its practitioner frameworks include growth loops: systems in which outputs feed subsequent inputs. Reforge’s 2018 explanation connects product, distribution and monetization, helping teams reason about how one cycle of activity can generate the next. By March 2026, the company reported more than 100,000 learning alumni.
In March 2026, Miro announced its acquisition of Reforge, subject to customary closing conditions, encompassing its team, learning platform and AI development tools. The announced arrangement retained Reforge Learning as a separately operated offering with vendor-neutral courseware. Reforge planned to integrate Insights, Research and Build into Miro’s Product Acceleration offering, while keeping Learning on Reforge.com without requiring learners to have a Miro account.
