RISA Labs builds AI software that automates oncology administration for cancer centers, health systems, specialty pharmacies and infusion networks. Its platform handles prior authorization, benefits verification, claims tracking and denial management, addressing administrative work that can delay treatment access. AI agents gather records, submit authorizations and track cases across medical-record and payer systems. BOSS Console lets institutions configure workflows, routing and practice-specific rules, with traceable actions.

Founded in 2024, RISA’s co-founders include CEO Kshitij Jaggi and CTO Kumar Shivang. Its technical approach divides complex workflows into smaller tasks for AI agents. Research published in 2025 explores specialized LLM agents that compare medical records with clinical guidelines to support medical-necessity judgments with evidence. A complementary research framework proposes coordinating digital twins for medical necessity, care navigation and clinical history around a patient-specific, guideline-aligned knowledge base.

RISA closed an $11.1 million Series A in 2026, co-led by Cencora Ventures and Optum Ventures, to expand US deployments. In January 2026, the company reported that partner institutions had added second and third workflows within nine months. At one partner site, it reported approximately 80% of administrative staff time freed and a 97.8% first-pass approval rate—results specific to that deployment.
