Ishween Kaur is a software engineer who tests what happens when an AI agent can spend money. Her work on agent platforms spans the harness that runs an agent, the memory it carries between steps, and the checks that keep a tool call within its intended scope. Her NYC speaker biography also identifies her as communications lead for Women in AI and a workshop instructor.
At AI Engineer NYC, Kaur demonstrated attacks on x402, a protocol for small payments over HTTP. Her tests separated three things a successful payment can obscure: whether the buyer agreed to the price, whether the right seller got the money, and whether the buyer received exactly what it paid for.
