Ryo Lu

Ryo Lu is a product designer and former founding designer at Cursor. In a live journal-building demonstration, Lu used an AI-generated interface to expose choices a tool makes on a person’s behalf. A streak, a mood score or a weekly report each implies a different reason for keeping a journal. Lu’s design question is whether the person using the tool can recognize those choices and change them.
