Supriya Subudhi

Supriya Subudhi works on consumer products at the intersection of experimentation and engineering. She was a staff product manager at Bumble when she presented its AI photo-feedback experiments. Earlier in her career she worked as a software and data engineer at Microsoft.

At Bumble, Subudhi compared survey interest in better profile pictures with what members actually did when offered advice. She examined the advice itself, including cases in which it told people who were already smiling to smile more. Those examples helped explain what an average A/B test result could hide.
