Amp

Amp develops an AI coding agent and development environment. Its Orbs run coding agents on remote machines controlled through the web, phone or CLI. Developers can share application previews, collaborate with teammates, schedule work and have agents exchange messages and files.

Amp and Sourcegraph announced their separation into independent companies in December 2025. Quinn Slack leads Amp as CEO, with Beyang Liu and other former Sourcegraph teammates among its co-founders. Sourcegraph remains a separate company focused on enterprise code search and code understanding.

Amp stated that it was profitable when announcing its separation in December 2025, without disclosing a revenue or profit figure.
