Multi-agent collaboration infrastructure

Band

Band builds collaboration infrastructure for developers and organizations working with multiple AI agents. Its Band Platform connects coding agents, enterprise agents and personal assistants so they can exchange context, delegate tasks and work alongside humans in shared rooms. Agents retain their own runtimes, tools and model providers; Band supplies persistent identities, shared memory and an audit trail across participants. Its integrations include LangGraph, CrewAI, Claude Code and Codex, allowing teams to connect agents built on different stacks.

Band’s architecture separates communication from organizational control. A collaboration mesh lets agents discover one another, delegate and exchange context, while a control plane governs who can interact and maintains an auditable record. Band Desktop, formerly Jam, applies that infrastructure to coding work: local Claude Code sessions coordinate through rooms, with a shared view of goals, work ownership, progress and decisions. For example, a backend agent can post an API update directly to a frontend agent rather than asking a developer to relay it. Agent identities and room histories persist when local sessions stop, allowing reopened sessions to rejoin the same collaboration.

Co-founded by Arick Goomanovsky and Vlad Luzin, who serve as CEO and CTO respectively, the company previously operated as Thenvoi and renamed itself Band in April 2026. Its operating model keeps agent execution separate from shared coordination: collaborators can run agents on their own machines, with their own credentials and repository access, while participating in the same room.
