Wearable AI and personal assistants
Bee makes wearable personal AI that turns conversations and everyday context into summaries, reminders and insights. Now part of Amazon, which it joined in 2025, Bee helps people recall meetings and lectures, track commitments and capture ideas. Its Bee Pioneer wearable works with iOS; mobile apps and Apple Watch provide additional ways to interact. Actions connects email and calendars to draft messages and create meeting invitations, while Daily Insights identifies recurring patterns and Voice Notes captures thoughts.
CEO Maria de Lourdes Zollo co-founded Bee with CTO Ethan Sutin after working together at Squad and Twitter. Its technical approach builds personal memory from conversations and information users choose to share, including email, calendars and HealthKit data. Conversations are processed in real time without storing audio. For developers, Bee CLI exports conversations, facts and tasks to local Markdown files and doubles as an MCP server, allowing assistants such as Claude and Codex to use that context.
Its Pioneer hardware is listed at $49.99 and ships only within the United States. In 2024, Bee disclosed $7 million in funding, including $1.5 million previously raised, with Exor leading the financing.
