Bumble
Bumble operates a dating app in which members choose photos and write profiles. The work presented here concerns an AI feature intended to help members improve the photos they share.
Bumble compared survey demand with actual use of the feature, inspected individual recommendations for errors and tested models with different operating costs. Those experiments influenced where the team could offer the feature and which version it could afford to run.
