Conductor

Conductor builds software for developers to run multiple coding agents in parallel, review their changes, and merge their work. It runs Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode agents using users’ own subscriptions or API keys. Developers can work locally on a Mac or use Conductor Cloud, where agents run in isolated microVMs with repositories and dependencies preinstalled. Shared cloud workspaces let teammates follow activity and prompt agents together in real time.

Charlie Holtz, CEO, and Jackson de Campos, CTO, founded Conductor in 2024. Holtz previously led growth at Replicate, while de Campos built machine-learning infrastructure at Netflix. Conductor organizes agent tasks around Git worktrees: separate working copies connected to one repository, each with its own branch, files, commands, and review flow. This lets agents tackle different tasks without editing the same files on disk; local workspace isolation is a development convenience, not a security boundary.

Conductor offers free local workspaces and paid plans for cloud execution, collaboration, and organizational controls. Cloud agents keep working after the desktop app closes; enterprise features include SAML SSO and automated user provisioning. As of August 2026, the company described its reach as more than 100,000 builders. Its commercial offering spans individual developers and teams, with centralized billing and administration available for company use.
