DX

DX is an Atlassian company that provides engineering intelligence software to help engineering leaders measure productivity, identify bottlenecks, and assess AI’s impact on software development. Its platform combines system metrics with developer and AI agent feedback. AI Measurement tracks AI-generated code across commits, pull requests, teams, agents, and repositories, while developer experience tools help teams understand where work gets stuck. Fabric gives leaders a live view of service ownership, documentation, engineering standards, and security controls, connecting that context to AI tools.

DX was co-founded by Abi Noda, its CEO, and Greyson Junggren, its chief revenue officer. Its approach combines qualitative and quantitative data to explain both engineering performance and the friction behind it. Introduced in 2024, DX Core 4 brings together DORA, SPACE, and DevEx in a unified developer productivity measurement framework.

As of 2026, DX reports use by more than 300 companies, including Uber, Dropbox, Vanguard, and Pfizer. In 2025, it reported profitable growth and annual recurring revenue tripling in each of the preceding several years. Atlassian completed its acquisition of DX in November 2025 for $720.4 million in cash purchase consideration, with employee stock awards and deferred compensation accounted for separately.
