AI for legal and professional services

Harvey

Harvey builds AI for legal and professional services, helping law firms and corporate legal teams analyze contracts, conduct due diligence and manage litigation workflows. Custom agents execute multistep work such as contract drafting and document review, while Shared Spaces lets teams coordinate with external partners. Review Table supports structured extraction and analysis across up to 10,000 documents at a time.

Founded in 2022, Harvey is led by CEO and co-founder Winston Weinberg and president and co-founder Gabe Pereyra, previously a DeepMind research scientist and Meta machine learning engineer. Its engineering combines specialized model training with environments for executing legal tasks. Legal Agent Bench provides an open-source benchmark with more than 1,200 tasks across 24 practice areas. Its Harvey Tenet research preview explores post-training models for extended legal work, using expert rubrics to evaluate substantive deliverables.

As of August 2026, the company reported 2,400+ customers across 70+ countries, including more than 75 AmLaw 100 firms. Its 2026 acquisition of Benchmark, an asset management decision platform, extends its scope from investment due diligence and document review to initial deal screening and investment committee work; integration remained underway. In March 2026, Harvey raised $200 million in funding co-led by GIC and Sequoia at an $11 billion valuation.
