MCP infrastructure and developer tools

Manufact, Inc

Manufact builds developer tools and cloud infrastructure for connecting software to AI agents through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Its open-source mcp-use SDK supports Python and TypeScript, helping teams build servers that expose tools and data, plus apps with interactive charts and forms inside ChatGPT and Claude. Manufact Cloud adds deployment, authentication, monitoring, cross-client testing and marketplace publishing checks. Its Inspector lets developers test tools and examine protocol traffic before deploying.

Founded in 2025 by Pietro Zullo, its CEO, and Luigi Pederzani, the company was originally called mcp-use; that name remains with its SDK. The project began as a library for connecting language models to MCP servers in custom applications, then expanded into server development and debugging. Its engineering work also connects tools to interactive interfaces: ViewRenderer manages an MCP App’s sandboxed view, host communication and content-security policy, reducing the interface plumbing developers must implement themselves.

Manufact announced $6.3 million in seed funding led by Peak XV in 2026. The company reported reaching 10,000 GitHub stars in June 2026. In July 2026, Manufact reported that paying customer AgentMail exceeded 100,000 MCP tool calls per week by its third production week, using Manufact to handle hosting, authentication, scaling and monitoring.
