Ping Labs

Ping Labs builds AI applications and tools for developers and content creators. Its focus, under the T3 Tools name, is T3 Chat and T3 Code. T3 Chat provides conversations with third-party AI models and optional web search. T3 Code lets developers orchestrate Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor and Grok from one interface using their existing subscriptions. The company also maintains UploadThing for file uploads, PicThing for background removal and Ping.gg for live HD video collaboration.

Founded in 2021, the company participated in Y Combinator’s Winter 2022 batch. Its cofounders include CEO Theo Browne, who previously worked at Twitch and built tools for creators, and CTO Mark Florkowski, previously a support engineer at Retool. Its engineering work includes UploadThing’s programmable file routes, which let developers control permitted uploads, validate inputs and authorize users through middleware.

The business focuses on applications rather than training its own AI models. In a June 2026 interview, Browne reported that T3 Chat had reached seven-digit annual recurring revenue in 2025. T3 Code remains free and open source; its website reported adoption by over 100,000 developers as of August 2026. It does not resell model tokens: users retain their provider plans, and can fork or self-host the interface.
