AI Code Review and Governance
Qodo builds an AI code review and governance platform for engineering teams. It reviews pull requests and validates changes inside developers’ editors, using context from repositories, past reviews, and business requirements. Specialized agents look for bugs, rule violations, and requirement gaps, while cross-repository review helps identify changes that could break dependent services. Its Rules System turns conventions and review history into enforceable coding standards. Enterprises can use dedicated hosted instances or deploy within their own infrastructure.
Co-founders Itamar Friedman, CEO, and Dedy Kredo, chief product officer, lead the company. Formerly Codium, it adopted the Qodo name in 2024 as its scope expanded beyond IDE test generation. Its AlphaCodium research explores flow engineering: a multistage approach that uses tests and iterative code refinement instead of relying on a single prompt.
By March 2026, Qodo served hundreds of customers and employed 115 people across Israel, the United States, and Europe. The company reported tenfold revenue growth over the preceding year, with recently signed agreements including Nvidia, Walmart, and Box. In 2026, it raised a $70 million Series B led by Qumra Capital, bringing total funding to $120 million.
