Enterprise IT consulting, AI and software engineering
TNG Technology Consulting provides consulting and implementation services in agentic software development, artificial intelligence, and DevOps and cloud infrastructure. Its clients include corporate IT departments in telecommunications, insurance, e-commerce, automotive, logistics and finance. Projects span the software life cycle, highly available data centers and business intelligence. Its open-source engineering tools include ArchUnit, which lets developers test Java application architecture, inspect dependencies between packages and layers, and detect dependency cycles.
Founded in 2001 by Henrik Klagges and partners, TNG is headquartered in Unterföhring, Germany. Managing directors Robert Dahlke, Thomas Endres and Moritz Prinz lead the company; Klagges chairs its supervisory board. TNG extended its engineering work into open-weight language models with Chimera in 2025. Its Assembly-of-Experts approach combines neural-network components from existing DeepSeek mixture-of-experts models. The original Chimera joined V3 shared experts with merged R1 routed experts, constructing a model from parent networks rather than fine-tuning or distilling one.
TNG distributes Chimera model weights through Hugging Face. In December 2025, the company reported 1.13 trillion tokens processed by its models on OpenRouter during November 2024–November 2025. Its consulting business has a longer operating history: TNG reported €95.8 million in annual turnover for 2022 and more than 800 full-time employees in September 2023.
