Nathanael Weill

Nathanael Weill leads enterprise data science and AI at Air Canada. His work includes figuring out how to evaluate a system when the experts who know the right answers have little time to grade it. In supplier-contract review, his team could start with a known problem, insert it into a contract, and check whether an agent spotted it. Changing the wording while keeping the expected judgment fixed let the team test more than recognition of a familiar template.

Weill also advises the Data Science and Applied AI program at McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies, where he teaches predictive modeling and time series analysis. He holds a doctorate in pharmaceutical science and has worked on data science projects in life sciences, music technology and telecommunications as well as transportation.
