AI-powered go-to-market infrastructure

Clay

Clay builds go-to-market infrastructure for sales, marketing and operations teams. Its marketplace connects more than 200 data and AI providers, while Claygents research accounts, score leads and draft personalized outreach. Audiences brings internal and external data together; Workflows, introduced in open beta in 2026, routes records through enrichment, agents and conditional logic, then writes results back to Audiences. Teams can use these capabilities to refresh CRM records, qualify inbound leads and trigger email or advertising campaigns.

Founded in 2017, Clay initially combined spreadsheet interfaces, data ingestion and functional programming to help business users automate operations. CEO Kareem Amin and co-founder Varun Anand, who joined in 2021, subsequently focused the company on go-to-market work. Its enrichment waterfalls query providers in a configured sequence to avoid duplicate tasks and unnecessary credit spending. Claygent Builder lets teams create agents conversationally, test them on production data and reuse research methodologies as shared skills.

In September 2026, Clay reported more than 17,000 customers, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, Visa, Siemens and UPS. The company reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue in December 2025 and raised $115 million in Series D funding at a $7.1 billion valuation in 2026. Its platform connects CRM history, product usage and campaign engagement with external signals such as hiring activity and job changes, giving teams context they can reuse across growth workflows.
