Is there a fee to apply?+
No. Applying is free. Licensed partners pay a license fee and a deposit once approved.
Will AIE help us find speakers or sponsors?+
The license doesn’t include speaker booking or sponsor sales. Partners get a playbook with recommended practices and feedback from the partnerships team.
Will AIE promote our event?+
AIE may share partner events on its channels at its discretion. Promotion isn’t guaranteed, so plan to drive your own sales.
Can we use a different name, like AI Engineer [Country]?+
AIEi events use the format AIEi [City]. Any variation needs AIE’s written approval.
Can we run a free event?+
No. Every AIEi event is ticketed, though you set prices for your market.
Can we hold our event in May or June?+
No. Those months are reserved for AIE’s flagship World’s Fair.
Is our city already taken?+
We license one partner per market. If your city has an active partner, we’ll let you know when you apply.
Can we host more than one event a year?+
Each license covers one event. Talk to us about anything beyond that.
Do we get to renew?+
Partners in good standing can renew each year. Renewal isn’t automatic, and re-signing within 60 days after your event keeps your market exclusive.
How long does review take?+
Timelines vary with application volume. We’ll confirm receipt and keep you updated.
